The Belt of TRUTH.
The Belt of this Armor is not there for what most people think it is. I have heard it taught that the belt is there to hold the armor together and for a place to hang your weapon. How does that work in the spiritual realm?
Let me tell you the real purpose of the Belt of TRUTH.
The belt that was part of the armor of a Roman soldier was a piece of protective gear, not just an accessory.
It was not what we call a belt. It started at the waist and looked almost like a mini skirt that went down over the "loins". It was made of leather or leather strips studded with metal, or it was simply made of some kind of metallic substance. And it had a definite purpose. It was there to protect the soldier's reproductive organs.
As Christians, we are taught to reproduce in the Spirit. To win souls.To expand the Kingdom. We need to protect the ability to do so, and we do it with TRUTH.
There is a lot of false teaching and a lot of lies being taught in the world. We need to know the Truth in order to tell others the Truth and win them to the Lord.
Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." You don't have access to God through Mohammed or Buddah or anyone else, only through Jesus! He is the Truth.
So, if you want to be a soul winner, someone who can lead others to the Lord, make sure you have the TRUTH.
